Dr. J. Kim, DDS
Dr. J. Kim graduated from Mount Holyoke College in 2006 with a degree in biology. She then attended New York University College of Dentistry and graduated in 2010. While there, she became a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society. After graduation, Dr. Kim began a general practice residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Kim brings a solid clinical background to the practice, and she is well skilled in all the traditional facets of dentistry, as well as the newer technologies.
Dr. Kim chose dentistry because it is a profession she loves. It provides plenty of rewards and challenges. Plus, she is able to help others with her knowledge and skills. Her patients love that Dr. Kim is affectionate, understanding, and gentle with her patients during treatment.
Dr. Kim is looking forward to meeting each of you and providing all of our patients with the highest quality dental care.
Dr. Richard Scimonelli, DDS
Dr. Scimonelli attended the Gilbert School in Winsted CT, received his BS in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Hartford and graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in 1984. Since then he has been engaged in compassionate patient care in a private practice setting.
His priority as a dentist is caring for each patient providing the highest quality of dentistry in a relaxing environment. He understands that a beautiful smile can change how people feel about themselves and his goal is to help you find that smile and learn to maintain its health and beauty for a lifetime. He values getting to know each of his patients individually and tailor their treatment to their specific needs.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Scimonelli enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and skiing.

Marena - Dental Hygienist
Marena is a graduate of Goodwin College Dental Hygiene Program. While in school marena was awarded the American Dental Student Hygienist Association Award as well as becoming certified in Local Anesthesia. Marena prides herself on being thorough yet gentle. One very important thing to marena is educating her patients on maintaining or improving their oral health. She is very passionate of being a hygienist but also enjoys getting to know her patients on a personal level. When marena is not working she enjoys going to the beach and hiking with her dog, scooby!
Christine started her career in dentistry in 2014 and has since found her home at Litchfield Center Dental. With 25 years of experience in office management, her goal is to make your care with us as seamless as possible. Her motherly compassion spills over into her work life, it won't be long till you feel like part of the family. Outside of work Christine is a personal trainer, has a passion for the health and well being of herself and others. During her limited down time, Christine loves to make memories with her husband and son.

After much thought and consideration, I have decided to retire. It was a very difficult decision. I truly loved my job. After 19 years I have gotten to know and loved many of you, you have become part of my family. It was my honor and pleasure to help you with anything you needed. Many of you know it’s not easy to deal with insurance companies.
You will be in good hands with Christine, I taught her everything I know and she will take care of you well. I’m starting a new beginning which I’m looking forward too. Traveling will be high on my list.

Monika - Dental Hygienist
Monika began her career in dentistry in 2014 as a dental assistant before deciding to enroll in the dental hygiene program at University of New Haven - graduating with her Bachelors degree in 2017. Monika strives to always be compassionate - putting her patients at ease and providing a positive dental experience at every appointment. In her spare time, Monika loves spending time with her newborn son, forgetting about the chicken she set out to defrost, cleaning the kitchen a hundred times a day and eating cold pizza for breakfast.
Rosie - Dental Assistant
Rosie joined our office in 2016, and she’s already hard at working helping our patients get the superior quality of dental care they’ve come to expect from every member of our team. She brings more than two decades of experience in dentistry to our office, and loves working with our team to make patients feel welcome and right at home. She loves having this opportunity to meet new people, and develop lasting relationships that make patients look forward to visiting the dentist every year. In her spare time, Rose is married, and she loves spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoys bowling, gardening, listening to music, and visiting the beach.
